In Texas, certain organizatons are authorized to conduct raffles (up to 2 per calender year), under the Charitable Raffle Enabling Act, effective Jan. 1, 1990. There are certain stipulations, such as the organization must be qualified and exempt under IRS section 501(c), existed for three years, and the proceeds are not distributed to any of the organizations officers, members, or governing body, and that the organizaton does not participate in political campaigns or attempt to influence legislation. Raffle tickets are sold through the Texas Barnstorming Museums Raffle Creator website, telephone, and in person at various locations and events. For each $100 donation, the entrant will recieve one ticket ("chance"), to win any of the listed prizes on the raffle wesite. Each entrant will recieve an email confirmation within 24 hours of purchase. If no confirmation is recieved, the entrant should call (361)772-6434. Texas Barnstorming Museum (TBM) is not responsible for any lost or misdirected emails. It is the purchasers responsibility to determine participation in this raffle is legal in their state. The ticket buyer accepts responsibility that it is legal for them to accept the ticket via email, and that participation is legal in their state.  TBM will draw the winning tickets, and award the Grand Prize, a Vans RV-12 Aircraft, N826MW, SN 120779, and the other prizes listed, 4 days after selling 2500 tickets, but no later than October 1, 2021 at 12;00 PM Central time regardless of the number of tickets sold. If any tickets are sold after the raffle has officially ended, the tickets will be refunded, otherwise, all ticket purchases are final.  The winner need not be present to win any prize, but transfer of the aircraft will be at the TBM Hangar in Hallettsville Texas and will require proper identification in order to claim the prize.  All prizes except the aircraft will be sent to the winner via USPS at TBM's expense. The winner of the aircraft must take posession within 30 days of the award, TBM will hangar the aircraft for 30 days after the award, but will not be held responsible for damages occuring after the award, prior to the winner taking posession. After the award, it is the aircraft owners responsibility to insure the aircraft if so desired.  In the event that the aircraft is damaged or destroyed prior to the award, TBM will pay the winner the cash value of the aircraft ($50,000.) and retain the salvage rights to the aircraft. There is no cash option. The winner must take posession of the aircraft or transfer the award to another ticket holder. This Raffle is open to US Residents 18 years or older. The winner is responsible for all tax liabilities associated with the award of the aircraft, and must present proper identification to TBM officials prior to the award. The winner will be required to sign a release of liability waiver, proper IRS tax documentation, and any other forms required by TBM, the FAA or Officials regarding its transfer of ownership and subsequent operations. 

In the event a winner cannot be located, or it the winner declines the award, TMB will continue to draw until the award is accepted.

The purchaser of a ticket must verify participation is legal where they live before buying a ticket, and by purchasing a ticket, the entrant understands they are responsible for all tax consequenses and transfer fees associated with winning the aircraft

This Raffle is not legal outside of the USA, and is void where prohibited
